Body Building

If your goal is to body build then you must incorporate a program of resistance
training and a clean, healthy diet of high protein, high-carb and low-fat foods.

odybuilding requires more time and training in the gym and is geared toward
the person who is very competitive and disciplined.

 The following programs are offered:

 

*Every year, Gordon Weir, Fitness Director for the Courthouse, promotes the Mississippi Bodybuilding and Figure Championships.  This event is a national
qualifier and is hosted at Thalia Mara Hall in
Jackson.  The show is open to
Teenagers, Novice, Junior Men, Open Men, Open Women, Master’s,
Grandmaster’s, and Figure competitors from all over the state of Mississippi. 
This event takes place annually during the 3rd week in July.
